My name is Katherine McConaghy and I have been teaching Kindergarten at Central Columbia for 6 years. I have previously taught kindergarten and first grade learning support (also at Central), as well as PreK. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher!

I received a Bachelor's Degree is in Early Childhood and Special Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's Degree in Reading from Wilkes University. I am certified in Early Childhood Education PK-4, Special Education PK-8, and Reading Specialist PK-12. 

My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family - my husband, two sons, dog, and two cats. In my spare time, I like to hike, take road trips, and read.
