What is PRIDE?

PRIDE stands for Polite, Respectful, Independent, Danger-Free and Ethical.
PRIDE is designed to introduce concepts necessary for to "getting along with others. Students will meet as a small group to discuss and integrate a variety of information into their repertoire so that they are better equipped to work cooperatively and respectfully with others. Each PRIDE class will last approximately 30-40 minutes with any extra time being used to practice new "getting along skills" on the playground or in cooperative activities.

When does my child go to PRIDE class?

Day 2: Grade 2: 2:45 - 3:20
Day 3: Grade 3: 2:45 - 3:20
Day 4: Grade 4: 2:45 - 3:20
Day 5: Grade 1: 2:45 - 3:20

Day 6: Kindergarten Group 1: (KA, KE, KJ) 2:00 - 2:35
Kindergarten Group 2: (KB, KL, KU, KY) 2:35 - 3:10

What are some of the topics covered while in PRIDE?

Community, Bus Safety, Getting along with others, Bullying, Teasing, Criticism, Honesty, Truthfulness, Self Control, & lots more!
